Job Title: Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at Aspire Defence Services Limited. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers by providing accurate and reliable pricing for maintenance jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ROM costings based on pricing methodologies and historic contractor prices for defined Scopes of Work.
  • Deliver strong commercial approach to accurately estimate and quantify Scopes of work by reviewing the work ensuring all elements accounted for.
  • Undertake quantitative analysis to compare ROMs against market.
  • Support the updating of rates in the asset planning software based on market returns.
  • Support Aldershot Garrison estimates in their production of the Annual Maintenance plan.

Requirements:

  • Educated to a minimum HNC/HND level or equivalent in a relevant discipline preferably with a professional membership eg, CIBSE, RICS or CIOB.
  • Understand pricing in construction and where to find and interpret available data.
  • Current knowledge of building regulations.
