XPS Pensions: A Leading Pensions Administration Business

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pensions Administrator to join our vibrant Newcastle office with hybrid working. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous pensions administration experience where they have gained knowledge and experience of defined benefit pensions schemes, client work, and performing complex calculations.

As a Senior Pensions Administrator with XPS, you will:

  • Monitor accuracy, performance, and SLAs for the team, including activity and client performances, and take action to ensure targets are met. This includes monitoring, delegating, and coordinating workflow.
  • Handle complex pensions queries, scrutinising the work of other less experienced pension administration team members.
  • Update relevant pension administration databases and systems.
  • Perform manual and automated benefits calculations.
  • Help identify any training needs across the team and assist with developing and mentoring team members.

Key requirements include:

  • Previous pensions administration experience of Defined Benefit (DB) schemes including leavers, retirements, deaths, transfers in and transfers out.
  • Experience of current pensions legislation and framework.
  • IT proficient, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Maths and English GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent.
  • Keen to develop personal career development and skillsets.
