Overview

Screwfix is a leading retailer in the UK, known for its fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the marketing team with new store activities and store support programs, helping to build awareness and drive sales.

Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and execution of new store opening programs and store support initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate data to deliver each campaign and event, collaborating with other teams to ensure data is up-to-date.
  • Develop effective briefs for artwork teams to produce customized content and pricing for local activities.
  • Contribute to the delivery of marketing plans to support new store openings, collaborating with creative and local media teams.
  • Measure and review store performance through the store support program, implementing marketing strategies to drive results.
  • Contribute to the wider store team, ensuring all colleagues are multiskilled and adaptable to marketing demands.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of the retail environment and operations.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple demands.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in retail.
  • Ability to build presentations and present confidently.
  • Good understanding of the local media environment.
  • Able to identify and address tasks without waiting for instruction.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate priorities and elevate identified efficiencies.
  • Previous experience in retail, marketing, or commercial roles is beneficial.
  • Driving license required.
