We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading audits from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage audits from planning to completion, including field work and review of financial statements.
- Oversee work-in-progress (WIP) and ensure deadlines are met.
- Mentor junior staff and support their learning and development.
- Monitor and nurture client relationships.
- Work closely with senior management to support company growth and identify new business opportunities.
- Assist with target setting and department budgeting.
- Identify services that will add value to our portfolio of clients.
- Confidently network to promote our department and services.
- Oversee the audit team and champion our firm's values within the team.
- Provide professional and personable client-facing communication skills.

- Charity and Academy experience is desirable but not essential.

- A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team.
- Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency.
- Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written.
