We are a reputable education institution, EDEX, committed to delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences. Our 'Outstanding' secondary school in the Borough of Bexley is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physics Teacher / ECT to join our team.
SalaryWe offer a competitive salary range, estimated at £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
Job DescriptionAs a Physics Teacher / ECT, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating students across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5. You will work closely with a talented team of Physics Teachers, leveraging their expertise to drive student progress. Opportunities for TLRs such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities are available.
- Inspire and motivate students in Physics lessons
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging lesson plans
- Utilize graduate Teaching Assistants to enhance student support
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
- Strong academics, including a Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
- The ability to meet the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
