About the Role:
As a Die Maker and Welder at Magna International Inc., you will be responsible for creating and repairing complex metal components using a variety of techniques, including Tig & Mig welding and hand working parts of dies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create and repair metal components, including dies and other machinery parts
• Use Tig & Mig welding and hand working parts of dies to create and repair metal components
• Work from blueprints, CAD data, sketches, and verbal instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company safety policies and procedures

Requirements:
• Minimum of two years of experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, with a focus on skilled trade operations
• Journeyman Certification is a plus
• Strong understanding of die work/operations and machine knowledge
• Ability to run all tool room equipment
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
