About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Countrystyle Recycling. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and competence in performing tasks associated with preventative maintenance checks and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise the day-to-day maintenance of plant and machinery, ensuring maximum availability and productivity in line with company procedures and legislative requirements.
  2. Oversee the Plant Engineering team daily, ensuring team members meet their objectives and job responsibilities.
  3. Carry out inspections, diagnose faults and defects on plant equipment and components, including testing, dismantling, repairing, and re-assembling as needed.
  4. Support operatives and employees in preventive maintenance checks, services, and general maintenance/repairs of plant equipment and related components.
  5. Perform emergency call-out repairs as required.
  6. Participate in and support planned maintenance shutdowns.
  7. Report daily plant availability to management.
  8. Cooperate, report unsafe conditions, and comply with company management systems and safe systems of work to help meet legal requirements.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong engineering background and experience in team supervision. Essential requirements include strong communication skills, proficiency in computer literacy, excellent time and priority management, and skilled problem-solving. NVQ Level 2 in Mechanical Maintenance (or equivalent) is also required.
