This role involves loading and delivering furniture to customers' houses in West Cumbria. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically fit and able to lift heavy items. You will also need to be comfortable driving a box van and navigating local roads.

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team at Recruit Cumbria. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive their furniture safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and securing furniture onto the delivery vehicle
  • Driving to customer locations and unloading furniture
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A clean driving licence
  • Experience of driving a transit or luton style van
  • Good customer service skills
  • The ability to lift heavy and awkward items
Benefits

This is a permanent staff position offering a starting wage of £12.00 per hour with a pay rise in April. Additional benefits include a statutory pension scheme, 28 days holiday per year and access to training and development opportunities.
