Job Description:

As a Lead Business Analyst, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business analysis function within Operations. This includes line management of business and test analysts, hiring process management, and development of effective relationships with Munich Re Group IT. The role also involves providing expertise across policy administration system build and collaborating closely with the Head of Change and Lead Project Manager to ensure unified delivery approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of business analytics best practices to coach and lead a team of business analysis professionals, delivering against various digital and business transformation projects.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Change and Lead Project Manager to ensure unified delivery approach.
  • Develop effective relationships with Munich Re Group IT for successful in-project collaboration.
  • Capture, define, prioritize, document, and explain business requirements based on project objectives.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and manage in-project tech vendors.
  • Provide expertise across policy administration system build including any technical integrations.
  • Produce and manage requirements/user stories and acceptance criteria from undefined and unstructured information on strategic projects.
  • Drive good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers/policyholders.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Excellent stakeholder management and time management skills.
  • Able to coach and develop business analysts with varying backgrounds.
  • Understanding of wider business goals and the impact business analytics has on them.
  • Knowledge of insurance policy administration, policy lifecycles, and workflows.
  • Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience conforming product definition to regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience/knowledge of structured or un-structured database architecture.

    Estimated Salary Range: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
