About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to join our team at Interaction - Leeds. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with our existing customer base, while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within your designated territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your designated territory, expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth.
  • Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales process from quotation to closing, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical knowledge to provide expert advice and solutions to customers, enhancing their understanding and trust in our products.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management, demonstrating your progress and achievements.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in field sales within the plant and machinery hire industry or a similar technical engineering field.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of plant and machinery, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to manage and grow an existing customer base while successfully winning new business.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Self-Motivated: A proactive, results-driven attitude with the ability to work independently and manage your own territory.
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 basic, depending on experience.
  • Commission: Uncapped commission structure with an OTE of approximately £70,000.
