Job Overview

The Production Material Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of material supply to the aircraft build facility, aligning with financial budgets. This position supports the Material Delivery Manager and collaborates with Production Forward Planners and Production Availability Officers.

Key Responsibilities

  • To coordinate the delivery and management of material supply, guaranteeing milestones and aircraft deliveries are achieved within financial targets.
  • Act as a liaison for business stakeholders, providing clear and timely communication on material status, risks, and escalations.
  • To resolve complex material problems, ensuring customer satisfaction and business improvement.
  • Closely work with Production Logistic Controllers and Aircraft Managers to ensure timely material delivery to the build facility.
  • Maintain good working relationships with business stakeholders, including Procurement, Logistics providers, Programmes, Manufacturing Engineering, and MRP, prioritizing tasks appropriately.
  • Analyze material data, execute business processes, and escalate critical issues when necessary.
  • Attend material review meetings and provide material status reports as required by the business to inform decision-making.

Working Conditions

This is an ongoing contract position based in Yeovil, requiring onsite work from Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.

Compensation

£50,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
