{"About the Role": "We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Assistant Nursery Chef/Cook to join our team at Hemsley House Nursery School in Maidstone. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals for our children. You will also be responsible for the safe and hygienic management of the nursery kitchen, ensuring that all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide balanced and nutritional meals for all children attending the nursery and catering for children with specific dietary needs
* Instill Storal Values to Food and Hygiene and compliance with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health-Food Safety, Health and Safety and within the guidelines of Ofsted
* Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences
* Maintaining stock levels and ensuring stock rotation
* To be aware of COSHH and follow relevant guidelines
* To deputise for the Cook in all absences with the expectation of deputising full time when this is required ", "About You": "We are looking for someone with a Level 2 Food and Hygiene qualification and a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role. You should have a good understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH. You should also reflect the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together.
