Care and Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Care and Support Professional to join our team at Argyle Park Care Home in Southport.
This is a full-time role working DAYS - 8am- 8pm with every other weekend required. The contract consists of 33 hours and 22 hours.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting staff in maintaining high standards of care and service towards residents, relatives, visitors, and colleagues. They will provide personal and practical care to our residents, promoting independence, dignity, and respect.
- Demonstrate compassion and empathy when caring for older people.
- Be self-motivated, resilient, and well-organized.
- Be dependable, able to work under pressure, and flexible to meet the needs of residents and the home.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Caring and sensitive approach to the needs of others.
- Commitment to providing service excellence.
- Able to communicate effectively.
- Able to provide emotional and social support.
- Commitment to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect.
- NVQ Level 2 health and social care is desirable.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary, £19,500 - £20,500 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include:
