Job Summary:

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and continuous operation of mechanical, electrical engineering services, and building plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical maintenance of all relevant assets, including routine checks and repairs, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Work from a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule or in response to reactive work orders raised by our client representatives or our own personnel on site.
  • Manage tasks through to completion, including fault diagnosis and sourcing parts where applicable.
  • Ensure awareness of best working practices and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with backlog works and participate in specialist projects as required.
  • Undertake other tasks as necessary, including working on non-electrical systems.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship and proven experience in a similar role.
  • Competence to undertake/assist work on building service systems and equipment.
  • Familiarity with the type of systems and equipment on which work is required.
  • Technical knowledge and experience to avoid any danger presented by the work.
  • Adequate knowledge of first aid, including CPR training.
  • Desirable: knowledge of Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM) and Permit to Work procedures.
  • Ability to obtain a Disclosure Scotland at a Basic Level.
