Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in a leading mental health hospital based in the Chelmsford, Essex area.

The hospital has established a reputation for providing high standards of treatment for a diverse range of mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety, and stress.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing a high standard of care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorder
  • Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
  • Following all codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, respecting the rights of others, and promoting ethical practice
  • Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
  • At a more senior level, you'll also need to lead shifts, mentor, and support student nurses and other members of the team
