We are seeking an experienced NDT Supervisor to lead our team of NDT Inspectors and trainees. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of NDT services to our internal and external customers.
Main Responsibilities- Leadership and Performance Management: Lead and manage a team of NDT Inspectors and trainees, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
- Pre-Planning and Research: Conduct thorough pre-planning and research to ensure all NDT tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Quality and Performance Monitoring: Monitor the quality and performance of NDT tasks, taking corrective action as necessary to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Health and Safety: Ensure all NDT related tasks are carried out safely and in accordance with company Health and Safety procedures.
- Tooling and Equipment Management: Ensure all NDT related tooling and equipment are in calibration and maintained correctly.
- Liaison and Communication: Liaise with NDT Level 3 responsible person and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in an aircraft maintenance or similar environment, with a strong background in NDT.
- Qualifications: Multiple Non-Destructive Testing approvals, with a strong understanding of Eddy current, Ultrasonic, Dye Penetrant Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, and UT Phased Array.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial and financial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
