Business Development Opportunity in Orthopaedics

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Network Scientific Ltd. in the UK. As a successful Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for launching and developing our business in the UK market.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified Business Development Manager who is up for a new challenge. You will be working within the NHS and private hospitals where you will sell a range of top-quality trauma implants to orthopaedic surgeons. Full product training will be provided and career and earning prospects are very attractive.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support in launching the company and its products into the UK market.
  2. Contribute towards the planning and execution of strategically developing the business and the team within the region.
  3. Setting the territory plans & KPI's for team members.
  4. Identify & create a strategic pipeline of prospective clients throughout the UK.
  5. Manage the full sales cycle and ensure that set targets are met.
  6. Represent the company at exhibitions and networking events.
  7. Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients in both private & public hospitals.
  8. Lead a team of experienced sales associates.
  9. Provide regular updates on sales activities, market trends, and competitor analysis.
  10. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Degree level education or equivalent in a relevant field.
  2. 2-5 consecutive years of extensive experience in the orthopaedic implant field.
  3. Proven successful experience with building & developing startup companies.
  4. Strong knowledge and network in this industry across different regions in London.
  5. Experience in sales & marketing (Trauma Subspecialty in foot & Ankle).
  6. Experience of selling to NHS hospitals.
  7. A new business hunter mentality, ideally with examples of winning new accounts.
  8. Very commercially switched on with excellent customer handling skills.
  9. Committed to driving business forward and with an excellent work ethic.
  10. Full UK driving license.
