Job Title: Installation Engineer Contract

We are seeking a skilled Installation Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As an Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of internal and external WiFi installations across our customer sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the installation of wireless networks, both indoor and outdoor, to ensure seamless connectivity and high-speed data transfer.
  • Install and configure data networks utilizing copper and fibre technologies to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Install cable management systems and associated infrastructure, including comms cabinets, PDUs, and shelving with patching, to maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in wireless networks to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Participate in manual and ground work as required to ensure the successful completion of installations.
  • Install, terminate, and test copper and fibre data cabling to ensure high-quality connections.
  • Install wireless network infrastructure, including ethernet switches and access points, to support our customers' growing needs.
  • Work under the guidance of the site supervisor to ensure the successful completion of installations.
  • Travel to sites across the UK and may require overnight stays on occasion.
Requirements:
  • Driving License.
  • Good understanding of Wireless Network Technologies.
  • Ability to adapt to situational needs and be a flexible team member.
