Position: Speech and Language Therapist

Contract Type: Permanent

Work Schedule: Full-time (35 hours per week), during school terms with additional flexible weeks during school breaks

Holiday Entitlement: 10 weeks/50 days FTE per year

Salary Range: £36,064 – £39,712 per annum based on experience

Part-time opportunities are also available.

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Speech and Language Therapist eager to apply their expertise in a specialized educational environment, catering to students from Reception through to the end of Key Stage 2. The role emphasizes maximizing child contact time to ensure our students achieve optimal outcomes through a comprehensive approach.

As a therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing, planning, and implementing tailored intervention strategies for a designated caseload.
  • Conducting individual and small group sessions in dedicated therapy spaces and within classroom settings to facilitate curriculum access and enhance engagement in educational activities.

Your role will also include participation in training sessions, professional development opportunities, and outreach initiatives. You will have the privilege of working within a well-equipped department alongside a collaborative team of educators, therapists, learning support staff, educational psychologists, and residential care professionals.
