About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Educator to join our ICU & Medicine Inpatient Teams at London Bridge Hospital. As a Clinical Practice Educator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the professional practice of our teams, ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality educational programs for both new and existing nursing staff.
You will be responsible for driving educational initiatives that not only meet regulatory standards but elevate the standard of care we offer. This will involve identifying practice gaps and implementing educational activities to address them, using your expertise to develop and lead onboarding processes for nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality educational programs for nursing staff
- Identify practice gaps and implement educational activities to address them
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and lead onboarding processes for nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
- Registered General Nurse with full NMC registration
- Post-graduation certificate in education with a recognised mentorship qualification
- Extensive experience in clinical education and a substantive experience in a relevant nursing specialty
