About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Programme Delivery Expert to join our team at Sustrans, a charity dedicated to creating a healthier and happier society through sustainable travel. As the Project Delivery Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a programme of work that overcomes identified barriers to active and sustainable travel modes, including practical engagement activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering behaviour change projects, working in community settings, and managing budgets, producing reports, and carrying out monitoring activities. You should be able to work independently, planning and prioritising your own workload with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver a programme of work to overcome barriers to active and sustainable travel modes
  • Work with a network of volunteers and 2 Project Support Officers to achieve programme goals
  • Manage budgets, produce reports, and carry out monitoring activities
  • Recruit, manage, and develop Sustrans volunteers in collaboration with the Project Coordinator and volunteer programme staff
