About the Role
As a key member of our warehouse team at Firesafe, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stockroom. Your primary responsibility will be to receive and process incoming goods, accurately checking for damage or missing items and storing them in a safe and organized manner.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming goods, reporting any damage or discrepancies to the relevant team members
Store goods in a safe and organized manner, using various methods to ensure efficient stock rotation
Assist in the picking and packing of orders, ensuring accurate and timely dispatch
Load goods for dispatch, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
Maintain accurate stock records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company procedures
Requirements
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed
Basic knowledge of stock management principles and procedures
Ability to work safely and efficiently, using a range of equipment including materials handling equipment (MHE) or fork lift trucks
