Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GPS Deployment Lead to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the deployment of our GSK Production System (GPS) and embedding it into our global supply chain site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Deployment of GPS: You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day deployment of GPS, including the development of the capability of all site personnel to implement continuous improvement activities.
- Coaching and Training: You will provide coaching and training to site teams, including the site leadership team and site director, on GPS principles and practices.
- Self-Assessment and Gap Closure: You will lead the self-assessment of the site against the GPS maturity matrices and work with the site leadership team to close any gaps.
- Site Business Performance: You will be responsible for leading overall site business performance processes, including the annual strategy deployment process.
- Team Leadership: You will lead a team of GPS practitioners and build their capability to implement continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Lean and Six Sigma Expertise: You will have a good level of understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodology, including GPS Level 4, Black Belt/Green Belt.
- Coaching and Training Skills: You will have strong coaching and training skills, with the ability to lead continuous improvement activities across a diverse population.
- Communication Skills: You will have highly effective communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to tailor your communication style to different audiences.
- Transformational Project Experience: You will have experience of leading transformational projects and people change management concepts.
- Networking and Influence: You will have strong networking and influence skills, with the ability to work at site management team level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- University Degree: You will have a university degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as manufacturing, engineering, quality, or logistics.
- Project Management Experience: You will have experience of project planning and execution management.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You will have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex performance issues and develop solutions.
