Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Engineer to join our team at our anaerobic digestion (AD) site in Weston-super-Mare. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager with the safe operation of the site and the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System.
  • Plan and execute maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of plant operations, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a related process industry, with a focus on maintenance and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC controls and electronics.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with materials handling equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
