We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Nukasani Group. As a Project Manager 4, you will be responsible for managing complex statewide IT projects from initiation to closure.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of complex projects throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely completion within scope and budget.
- Define and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and project management artifacts.
- Align project deliverables and milestones with project strategy and objectives.
- Manage project resources and oversee day-to-day task execution.
- Utilize system-based project management applications, such as CTP Planview.
- 5+ years of direct hands-on technical project management experience, preferably managing Virginia state-level technology projects.
- Experience developing and documenting technical and business requirements.
- Project management leadership experience of cross-functional matrixed teams.
- 3rd party vendor management experience.
- Procurement experience, preferably associated with a Virginia state technology project.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance and best practices.
- Knowledge of varied technologies, including COTS solutions, security best practices, cloud computing, and data management.
- Strong business, technical, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and logical thinking.
- Ability to facilitate technical project meetings and translate outcomes into project schedules.
- Ability to oversee and track progress, translating outcomes into management briefings and weekly status reports.
- Clear, concise, and diplomatic written/verbal communication skills across all levels.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated team player able to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines when required.
- Effectively manage and solve complex business and technical problems.
- Aptitude for learning new technologies, applications, and business processes.
- College degree or military experience; Master's degree preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
- VITA PM Certification or the ability to obtain within 3 months of hire is a requirement.
