Rate of Pay: £17ph - £21ph depending on experience

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Warwickshire. As a Pharmacy Technician - Medicines Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing a medicines management service to acute wards and participating in dispensary sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a medicines management service to acute wards
  • Participate in dispensary sessions
  • Work closely with Senior Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists to assist in the daily running of the Medicines Management ward-based service
  • Use Pharmacy and other computer systems to carry out tasks in an accurate and timely manner
  • Supply medication suitably labelled for discharge
  • Transcribe drug histories or reconciled drug charts to the 'Discharge notification' section on or during admission
  • Accurately check the dispensing of other members of the department
  • Communicate accurate information to patients, carers, members of pharmacy and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician
  • NHS Hospital experience
  • ACT and MM qualification
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and work well with the team
  • Reliable

Working Hours and Contract Duration:

This position will require you to work from Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, 30 min break. The contract is for 6 months minimum.
