We're looking for an Engineering Technologist to join our team at Bakkavor Meals in Park Royal, London. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

As an Engineering Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to conduct planned and predictive maintenance on our processing and packaging assets. This includes performing routine checks, identifying potential issues, and taking corrective action to prevent downtime. You will also lead or support operational teams with machinery changeovers and set-ups, contributing to technical performance reviews and continuous improvement activities.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation principles, as well as experience with condition-based monitoring and CMMS systems. A strong bias towards electrical work is essential, but experience in mechanical principles, welding, machining, and thermodynamics systems would be beneficial. Your excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues will make you a valuable asset to our team.
