We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer-Asset to join our Belfast team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in civil engineering design and experience managing both single and multi-disciplinary projects within highway & Rail and local authority environments.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering civil and structural design packages and projects, from new highway schemes to maintenance and assessments. Key responsibilities include managing individual design packages and entire projects, ensuring they are delivered profitably, on time, and in alignment with our rigorous quality assurance standards.

Requirements:

  1. A BEng/MEng or MSc degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
  2. Chartered status and membership with the ICE, IStructE, or other recognized engineering bodies.
  3. Proven experience working with key clients such as Local Authorities, DFI, Highways England, Translink, Network Rail, Developers, and major Contractors.
  4. Capacity to develop and agree on scopes, managing the internal technical supply chain, including budgets, timelines, and quality of deliverables.
  5. Excellent project management skills, commercial awareness, and financial control across various contract types, alongside stakeholder management abilities (including specialist suppliers, independent checkers, and local authorities).
  6. Proficiency in grillage, space frame, and finite element analysis software packages, such as LUSAS, MIDAS, SuperStress, and/or Autodesk Structural Bridge Design.
  7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of clients and colleagues across multiple engineering disciplines.

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum.
