Job Description

RSE is seeking a skilled Electrical Commissioning Specialist to join our team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of projects for various clients in the water treatment industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop commissioning plans, site commissioning files, methodologies, programmes, method statements, and risk assessments to ensure project success.
  • Monitor standards to ensure specification compliance and quality standards are strictly maintained.
  • Attend FAT activities and provide constructive input on system controls.
  • Carry out commissioning of LV Electrical systems, Instrumentation, and Control Systems, including MCCs and associated field equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, line diagrams, and P&IDs.
  • Complete SAT and Asset Start-up.
  • Complete commissioning documentation.
  • Participate in HAZCOMM activities for various projects as required.
Requirements
  • Educated to HND/HNC level or equivalent in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Proven Mechanical & Electrical experience, with full commissioning phase experience (installation, dry, wet, process testing).
  • Previous experience holding SAP or AP position and of PTW systems.
  • Experience of MCCs, including VSDs, Softstarts, and Flow, Level, Pressure, and Temperature instrumentation.
  • Experience in executing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for clean and wastewater projects on both new build and retrofit sites.
  • Experience in FAT, SAT testing, and fault finding.
  • Experience in telemetry end-to-end testing.
  • Profibus, Installation, and Commissioning Certification.
  • Flexibility for location of work and out-of-hours working as required by the Company.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
