Job Title: HSEQ Advisor

Salary: £60,000 per annum

About the Role:
This challenging role involves ensuring that all activities within the company are carried out in compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, adhering to statutory regulations and internal procedures. Reporting directly to the HSE Director, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies, conducting regular site inspections and audits, and liaising with project managers and contractors to ensure HSEQ standards are met across contracts and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation and company policies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits, ensuring safety procedures are in place and adhered to.
  • Liaise with project managers and contractors to ensure HSEQ standards are met across contracts and projects.
  • Conduct Safety Task Analysis and assist in accident investigations, reporting findings and recommending improvements.
  • Provide health, safety, and environmental training and support to site and project teams.
  • Ensure contractor competence and monitor safety-related activities through site visits and inspections.
  • Develop and deliver awareness campaigns on Health, Safety, and Wellbeing issues.
  • Report regularly to the HSEQ Director on compliance and improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:
To be successful in this role, you will require a Health, Safety & Environmental qualification (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH), experience in a similar HSEQ role, and proficiency in MS Office and report writing. You must also have an in-depth understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
