Residential Childcare Support Specialist

Job Summary:
">We are seeking a skilled Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Polaris Community. The successful candidate will provide care and support to teenage males in a rural location, promoting their personal growth and development.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- To create a nurturing environment that fosters positive relationships and attachments with the young people.
- To plan and deliver activities that meet their individual needs and stimulate their learning and integration within the home.
- To maintain accurate records of their progress, achievements, and important events in their lives.
- To work collaboratively with local authorities and placing authorities to ensure outstanding care is provided.
- To establish and maintain positive relationships with parents/carers, supporting their involvement in their child's learning and development.
Requirements:
">- A minimum of [£19,745.82] per annum, plus [£35] per sleep-in shift (one per week x 48 weeks).
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential due to the rural location.
- A Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent qualification is required, or a willingness to work towards it.
- Flexibility with working hours, including days, evenings, and weekends, is necessary, with shift work.
