Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective health promotion strategies to improve participation in the Targeted Lung Health Checks programme.
- Work closely with the NCL Cancer Alliance and other local stakeholders to address health inequalities and improve access to lung cancer screening.
- Collaborate with the TLHC Operational Manager to ensure the successful delivery of health promotion activities.
- Conduct needs assessments and develop targeted interventions to address health disparities in the eligible population.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local community services and primary care providers to promote the programme.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health promotion activities and make recommendations for improvement.
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as health promotion, public health, or a related field.
- Substantial experience of working in health promotion, public health, or a related field, with a focus on behaviour change techniques and evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse data and information to inform programme development and implementation.
- Proven experience of managing and mitigating risks, with a focus on health and safety.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
