Job Title: KS3 Tutor - Special Education Needs

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS3 Tutor to provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs in English and Maths. As a KS3 Tutor, you will be responsible for creating individualized learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with other education professionals to ensure students' academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with special educational needs
- Deliver high-quality lessons in English and Maths to students at Key Stage 3 level
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with other education professionals to ensure students' academic success
- Provide support and guidance to students with special educational needs
Requirements:
- Relevant teaching qualification (QTS desirable)
- Degree in Education or a related field
- Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEMH, ASD, ADHD, Behaviours that challenge)
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
