About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support our Wellbeing Coordinator in providing activities that engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe living and working environment and contribute to the positive and professional image of the home.
  • Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and the care staff.
  • Support with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
  • Establish links with the local community to encourage access to the wider community and promote intergenerational activity.

Requirements

  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Understanding of the role interaction plays in the general well-being of people.
  • Positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events.
  • Previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting.
