About the Role

As a Bank Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and dignity. You will work closely with our care team to deliver personalized care plans, ensuring that each resident receives the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging them in activities and conversations.
  • Support residents with their medication, meal times, and other daily routines.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, working closely with the care team.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and families. You will also need to be compassionate, empathetic, and patient, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care. Previous experience in a care setting is essential, and you will need to be willing to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
