CNC Machine Servicing Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machine Servicing Engineer to join our team at Robert Hurst Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our CNC systems, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Visit Planning: Plan and execute maintenance visits to customer premises, ensuring all necessary equipment and service kits are available.
- Customer Service: Maintain a professional relationship with customers and their staff, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Maintenance Work: Perform routine maintenance and repair work on CNC systems, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
- Uniform and PPE: Maintain a professional standard of dress and wear branded clothing and PPE as required.
- Paperwork and Administration: Ensure all paperwork and administrative tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Call Out Duties: Respond to call outs in a timely manner, ensuring all necessary information is provided to the office.
- Service Vehicle: Maintain the allocated service vehicle in a good condition, performing regular checks and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Requirements:
- Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of water mist suppression systems and the wider fire prevention sector.
- Technical Competence: Experience in similar field engineer roles, with the ability to demonstrate technical competence and awareness required to pass manufacturer courses on the equipment to be maintained and repaired.
- Customer Focus: Ability to communicate directly with customers and maintain good relationships.
- Information Technology: Proficient in the use of mobile technologies, such as smartphones and tablets.
- CSCS Card: Hold a relevant CSCS or related scheme competency card.
