Water Resources Analyst Job Description

At Cambridge Water, we are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Analyst to join our team. As a leading water company, we provide a constant supply of drinking water to our customers.

The successful candidate will assist in preparing and monitoring our Water Resources Management Plans across both our South Staffs region and Cambridge region. This will involve supporting investments to maintain water supplies and determining the components of our plans for supply and demand scenarios.

The role will also involve collecting, analysing, and reporting data to support technical documentation for statutory plans using industry-standard methods for forecasting and planning. Additionally, the candidate will model data to support water resource management plans, support drought planning and water resources updates, and monitor and forecast water abstractions, discharges, and water resources assets.

We are looking for a candidate with some experience in water resources management, water supply and treatment, hydrogeology, or the water industry. Knowledge of UK Water Resources Planning, Environment Agency methods, and environmental impact assessment is desirable.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary up to £37,000 per annum depending on experience, 25 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays), store discount for personal shopping needs, and access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. If you are a motivated and experienced Water Resources Analyst looking for a new challenge, please apply for this exciting opportunity.
