Role Overview

The successful candidate will join our team of dedicated radiographers at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, providing high-quality imaging services to patients across various departments. As a Radiography Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in general radiography, fluoroscopy, and paediatric radiography, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.

This role offers a competitive salary of £32,000 - £43,041 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as comprehensive training, career progression opportunities, and a supportive work environment.

Job Responsibilities
  1. To maintain high standards of radiographic techniques in general radiography and fluoroscopy.
  2. To ensure accurate patient identification and adhere to departmental policies and protocols.
  3. To work autonomously, providing mobile imaging services to patients who require them.
  4. To assist in theatre radiography, manipulating equipment to achieve high-quality images in various surgical procedures.
  5. To contribute to the Departmental QA program, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated good communication and radiation safety awareness skills.
  • Recent NHS clinical experience in general radiography areas.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced A&E environment and adapt techniques as needed.
