Water Meter Reader Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Water Meter Reader to join our team at Gi Group Professionals. As a Water Meter Reader, you will be responsible for collecting data from water meters for both commercial and residential properties. This role requires you to update meter reads accurately throughout the day on your handheld device and enter the details on a handheld device at each location. You will also provide excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collect data from water meters for commercial and residential properties
• Update meter reads accurately on handheld devices
• Enter details on handheld devices at each location
• Provide excellent customer service

What We Offer:
• £13.43 per hour basic pay
• Weekly hours of 40, 42, or 45 hours, with flexible start and finish times between 8am and 8pm
• Average earnings of £28,000 to £30,000 per year, with additional bonuses
• Overtime rates of £16 to £18 per hour, at manager's discretion

Requirements:
• Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points
• Physically fit, with the ability to walk up to 7 miles per day
