About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our bank team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, supporting them to lead a valued and fulfilled life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to residents, including washing, dressing, shaving, and helping with continence needs.
  • Assist residents with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Support residents with mobility and transfer needs, including wheelchair and walking assistance.
  • Participate in regular communal activities, promoting social interaction and a sense of community.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker in a care setting.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings.
  • Positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and residents.
