We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality care and support to our client in their own home in the outskirts of Edenbridge.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is active, energetic, and willing to get stuck in, with a passion for fitness and physical wellbeing. They will be responsible for supporting the client in achieving their personal goals and pursuing their interests, while also providing clinical and personal care support.
The client has complex needs due to quadriplegic cerebral palsy, including PEG feeding, medication administration, and moving and handling. They communicate via eye movement or typing on their iPad.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and support to the client in their own home
- Support the client in achieving their personal goals and pursuing their interests
- Assist with clinical and personal care tasks, including PEG feeding and medication administration
- Communicate effectively with the client using their preferred method
- Work collaboratively with the client's healthcare team to ensure their needs are met
- Previous paid care experience of 3 months full-time caring for clients with complex needs within the UK
- Full UK driver's licence and access to a vehicle due to the remote location of the client's home
- Competitive pay rate of £382+ per 24-hour shift
