Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Project Manager to join our team at Reed Property & Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing essential support to our Project Managers and leading our team in delivering high-quality maintenance, construction, design, and project works related to Conductor Rail Equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and organise the development of maintenance, construction, design, and project works to meet key business objectives.
  • Help secure adequate resources and funding for efficient and safe delivery of the portfolio.
  • Ensure timely assignment of Construction Design Management (CDM) obligations for all projects.
  • Control and check the quality of work undertaken and ensure assets are compliant with standards.
  • Ensure that staff and subcontractors have appropriate and valid competencies.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and GDPR regulations.
  • Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.
  • Must have full access to transport for work-related travel.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or a related field.
  3. Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  4. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.
  6. Able to travel frequently for work-related purposes.
What We Offer:

This is a salaried position with a salary range of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role requires strong leadership and organisational skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
