Key Responsibilities- Manage and support a small team to deliver supply chain and procurement activities on a portfolio of suppliers.
- Responsible for transactional and more detailed supply chain sub-contract activity, including raising requests for quotations, negotiating price and lead times, managing purchase orders and associated contractual requirements, expediting delivery, and managing payments and sub-contract changes.
- Understand and be responsible for the requirements associated with managing data deliverables, supplier visits, and supplier relationship management.
- Responsible for contract management requirements associated with supplier performance and improvement activities, including taking responsibility for proactive risk and opportunity management. Report cost savings/cost avoidance and deliver ongoing cost analysis and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders, optimizing engagement and communication at all times.
- Proven experience within international purchase and supply management with bid work experience.
- Able to analyze and interpret data to determine improvements and appropriate action required.
- Understanding of the concept of on-time delivery, cost, and quality through the successful actions of the supply chain.
- CIPS or equivalent qualified or working towards/willing to undertake is desirable.
