You will work at a senior level, under the leadership of the Clinical Nurse Manager, to oversee and manage all clinical elements and risks within your designated unit. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse who wants to progress into management and develop their leadership skills.
The ideal candidate will have post-registration experience and/or training or qualifications in management or supervision. They will also possess a thorough understanding of best practice in nursing care, excellent clinical and communication skills, and the ability to work confidently on their own initiative.
Key responsibilities include leading your units care and nursing teams to ensure we meet the medical, physical and emotional needs of the people we support, providing strong leadership to maintain and continuously develop high standards of care and drive continuous improvement, overseeing and managing all your units clinical elements and risks, ensuring care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely manner and reflect care interventions appropriately, acting as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you, with responsibility for the oversight, review and update of their care profiles, and supervision and management of your units ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording and disposal of medication.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £44,000 per annum, based on a 42-hour week, plus excellent benefits including retail and lifestyle reward discounts, free DBS check, electric car salary sacrifice scheme, paid NMC membership, paid access to the RCNi Learning platform, 24/7 counselling and support, and Blue Light Card eligibility.
