Job Summary:

Spire Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team on a Part Time and Permanent basis. As an Evening Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient satisfaction by maintaining the cleanliness of our hospital and auxiliary buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all areas of the hospital are cleaned in accordance with our policies and procedures, and all relevant paperwork is completed.
  • Report any building and fabric issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Carry out scheduled flushing lists within the hospital.
  • Thoroughly clean all equipment at the end of each shift and leave it in a high standard condition.
  • Maintain a good standard of Health & Safety and COSHH legislations.
  • Promote the Spire Healthcare behaviours.

Requirements:

  • You will need to have a great attitude and work ethic.
  • Ideal experience in a professional cleaning capacity.
  • Flexible to work night shifts with some weekends.
  • Experience of working in a similar role, in a customer-facing environment.
  • Awareness and understanding of Health & Safety at Work and COSHH.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • IT literate and a competent user of the MS Office suite of products.
  • A high degree of accuracy and a methodical approach to workload.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Highly numerate.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise demanding workloads accordingly.
  • Your personal appearance must be of a high standard as expected within a healthcare profession.
