Job Description

We are seeking a talented Animation Specialist to join our team at 1X2 Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing artistic vision to life through 2D animation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Develop and implement technical tools to enhance project efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain art production workflows.
  • Support artists and programmers in achieving project goals.
  • Assist in asset performance and validation to ensure high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with programmers to develop and maintain resources and pipelines.
  • Port finished art to the game engine, ensuring optimal visual resolution.
  • Work within game engine limitations to curate file sizes and optimize performance.
  • Enforce standards and best practices as outlined by department heads.
  • Design and prepare character systems, including skeletons, cloths, and effect emitters.
  • Optimize environments and establish physics barriers to enhance gameplay.
  • Monitor game performance and resolve minor changes and technical issues.
Requirements
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Understanding of art and animation pipelines, including rendering and post-effects.
  • Experience with rigging and animation, as well as physics simulations.
  • Creative mindset and ability to overcome technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in animation and special effects software, including Spine, Maya, 3DSmax, and Blender.
  • Experience with Texture Packer, ShoeBox, and PixiJS.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the iGaming industry.
  • Knowledge of Angular, JSON, Jira/Bitbucket, HTML5, and CSS.
