About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Marine Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our client's busy team in Teesside. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical power and automation systems, with excellent fault-finding and repair skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Fault finding, repair, servicing, and testing of all types of main and auxiliary equipment.
  2. Power generation, distribution, switchgear, and propulsion.
  3. Vessel automation, control systems, and instrumentation.
  4. Service work planning, including scheduling and procurement of spare parts to carry out successful service visits.
  5. Planned maintenance, overhaul, upgrades, and retrofits.
  6. Commissioning and setting to work of new and upgraded systems.
  7. Working with our engineering department to plan, design, and deliver both new and retrofit solutions.
  8. Training and mentoring of other personnel.

Requirements:
  1. Minimum level 4 qualification, preferably degree educated.
  2. Self-motivated and dynamic with a focused attitude towards safety.
  3. Hold a full UK driving license.
