Seeking a dynamic and empathetic individual to join our team as a Senior Tenancy Support Worker in Ammanford. As part of a national homelessness charity, you will provide vital support to individuals struggling with mental health and lifestyle choices.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering social, emotional, and practical assistance to clients, helping them maintain stable tenancies and address challenges related to their mental well-being. Additionally, you will offer guidance on benefits and claims, housing options, and collaborations with external agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic support to individuals experiencing mental health distress and vulnerability.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop life skills and strategies for maintaining tenancies.
  • Work closely with external agencies to ensure seamless support services.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in supported housing or a similar field, with knowledge of current welfare and housing benefits.
  • Understanding of safeguarding practices for adults.
  • A passion for supporting individuals with mental health challenges.
