About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bank Catering Assistant to join our team at Llys Hafren. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals that meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the chef in food preparation, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standard.
  • Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents, taking into account their dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Load and unload the dishwasher, wash up equipment that cannot be put in the dishwasher, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Collect and distribute crockery from/to the care floors, ensuring that all areas are kept tidy and free from clutter.
  • Clear tea trolleys and empty kitchen rubbish, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
  • Ensure that the nutritional needs of residents are met, and that all meals are prepared in accordance with our Health and Safety Policy and Regulations.
