Job Summary
The Programme Support Officer will provide administrative support to the Programme and Project community, ensuring high standards of programme and project management are achieved in an efficient way throughout MBNL.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track schedules against agreed controls to ensure successful delivery of outcomes within agreed timelines.
- Provide timely and accurate information in line with agreed reporting cycles.
- Facilitate administration of governance and change control processes.
- Organize Programme/Project SteerCo, key meetings, and workshops.
- Maintain schedules, financial forecasting, actions register, decisions log, RAID log, and SharePoint space.
- Interpret and respond to Programme/Project requirements for support and information.
- Proactively identify ways to support project teams to ensure successful delivery.
Requirements
- Experience in producing project plans, dependencies logs, and resource usage across a project.
- Knowledge in risk and issue management.
- Good self-management, information presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Experience working in a project environment.
- Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
Desirable Skills
- Professional project management accreditations (P3O, Prince 2, APMP).
- Knowledge of financial processes, finance planning, forecasting, and project accounting.
- Telecoms experience.
